We very fortunately found Dr Coombe during the pandemic when my son had experienced disruption in his schooling and extended periods of remote learning. She was very kind, encouraging, and adapted her sessions to whatever he needed to do to fill in the gaps caused by the disrupted year. Her expertise enabled her to identify any points that needed to be addressed, and my son enjoyed her sessions very much. Dr Coombe is also a highly talented writer and she was able to help my son hone his writing in both the longer essay style Latin questions and for also for his English exams. His confidence improved and he felt much better prepared for his school exams. I would not hesitate to recommend Clare to any potential students.
