I really enjoyed learning Latin and Greek with Clare, she was incredibly supportive and encouraging. Clare really nurtured my love of the classics, inspiring me to go on and study for a Classical Studies undergraduate degree.
I’ve spent 5 years learning with Dr Clare Coombe and her lessons have been extremely beneficial to both my education but also my overall character and work ethic. Clare has been tutoring my home educated daughter GCSE Classical Civilisation for the last 3 months. Clare brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in her subject and her expertise is very apparent in her teaching. I have started Ancient Greek with Dr Fletcher during the summer prior to starting a module as a part of my Classics Masters degree.
